Hope 2011 is off to a great start for everyone! We had the perfect amount of snow for a White Christmas, in my opinion, and a great time spending the holiday with our families. We're fortunate that our family lives close so we spent Christmas Eve with my family, my Mom and Grandma came to our house for waffles and little smokies on Xmas morning (a tradition that was worth starting!) and we spent Christmas afternoon/evening with Justin's family. As you'll see by the pictures, Nora made out like a bandit. Opening presents is still a little beyond her attention span and by the time she opened two presents at Grandma Cindy's she said, "I done. I done." We're not sure we'll be that lucky any year beyond this one.
Here is a sneak peak of Baby #2. We had an ultrasound on Wednesday and even though we decided not to find out the gender it is still fun to see the baby and know that everything is okay. This baby is already suffering from second child syndrome because when I was pregnant with Nora I read up and was much more current on the size and developmental stage of the baby. I was shocked when they told me that the baby only weighs a little over half a pound! It is so amazing that someone who only weighs half a pound still has kidneys! I guess it was a little wishful thinking that the baby was responsible for a greater portion of my weight gain.
